I am having one of those weeks where I say "I am going to keep the house clean." When I start out with a clean slate, as I did on Sunday, I always say that. So far, so good, but it is only Tuesday morning. We shall see how the rest of the week goes.
It's back to doing laundry today. This will be a test of the "keep the house clean" mantra. Let's see if I can actually get the laundry washed, folded and put away all in the same day. Other than that, there isn't too much to juggle. I have to get to the grocery at some point today for a few odds and ends. And I have to remember to call my oldest's Sunday School teacher. She has asked me to substitute for her on Sunday. I don't really like subbing, I have done it twice for her, but I feel guilty saying "no". It feels like a sin against God not to help out the church when I am perfectly capable of doing so.
My middle child has school this morning but my oldest is still on spring break, so he wants all of my attention. He helped me get the laundry going and now wants me to play a miniature golf video game with him. So, off I go to spend quality time with my son. I enjoy these days when he is home without the middle child. We don't often get that quality time together.
