Bitten By the Crafting Bug

Today, while my husband is at a meeting all morning, I am in charge of tending to the children and all of their needs. After I got the baby down for a nap, the boys were happily playing downstairs, I decided to make the card for the party I am going to this afternoon.

I am so pleased with it. I love it so much, I almost don't want to give it away. It is for one of my very best friends though, so I am so pleased to have made such a beautiful card for her. After finishing the card, I am in crafting mode though, and would love to spend the rest of my day making cards and scrapbooking. That's how I get when I spend time creating something that I love. I then want to keep going and creating more.

I learned a new technique watching the DIY Network yesterday while I ate my lunch. It is called Serendipity Squares. It's such a cool way to use scraps, and I love the outcome on the card I created. It is so cool and easy, I want to use it on everything now.

Unfortunately, I can't spend anymore time on it today. I have come up with many more cards that I need to make for upcoming occasions though, and maybe tomorrow afternoon I will sit down and get creative again. Something to look forward to.
