It has been a busy six months

It has been six months since my last post. In those six months, I have had a baby, sold a house, bought a house and moved. It has been a busy six months!

My baby is almost five months old. We moved two and a half weeks ago. I can't find anything and my new house is dirty. I am torn between cleaning and emptying boxes. In between those two things I have FOUR children to take care of. There is always someone who needs something! I am either getting them ready for school, taking them to school, fixing snack, breaking up fights, feeding or changing the baby, fixing meals, picking up from school, helping with homework, breaking up more fights or other general mothering duties. In between I have to find time to get our new house organized and clean it. Not to mention getting a chance to eat or drink anything myself.

My daughter is almost two. She is going to drive me to drink!! I have had to call poison control three times in the last six months. Today she got into my stamping mist stamp cleaner. I was trying to clean a freaking bathroom. Is that too much to ask? I just wanted to clean the toilet and mop the floor and I had to call poison control! If I take my eyes off of her for more than a minute she is into the next thing. Is it any wonder that my house is a mess? All the while that I am trying to follow the instructions that poison control gave me, the baby is screaming. My four year old's brain is rotting because he is glued to the TV all morning because the other two keep me so busy. What is a mom to do?

She vents on her blog or to her mom or her friends and moves on. I got the bathroom cleaned, mopped the laundry room and kitchen floors, fed my kids snack and vented while they ate. Now my daughter is yelling "mom" because she wants out of the high chair so she can get into something else. Off to the next thing!
